What Is BitLife?
BitLife is a text-based life simulation released by CandyWriter LLC. You guide one character from birth to old age, making choices at every stage: study hard or skip school, pick a career, find a partner, raise a family, invest, take risks, or play it safe.
That simplicity is the trick. Because there is no fixed path, no two playthroughs land the same way. Your stats — looks, health, smarts, and willpower — shape your options, and random events keep every life surprising.
Official Features, Explained
God Mode
God Mode is the official character editor pack sold inside the official game. It lets you adjust your character’s looks, health, and starting stats, and edit attributes as you play, instead of leaving everything to chance.
Boss Mode
Boss Mode is the official job pack sold inside the official game. It opens the full career tree, including special careers such as the Mafia, acting, professional sports, and more, with over a hundred career paths to explore.
Bitizenship
Bitizenship is the official premium membership in BitLife. It removes ads, unlocks unlimited generations, gives full access to pets, full teacher and boss interactions, dark mode, prison gangs, salon and spa access, and extra story content.
Time Machine
Time Machine is the official pack that lets you rewind a decision you regret — a bad marriage, a fight that ended a friendship, a career mistake — and play that moment again with a different choice.
Expansion Packs
Expansion packs are sold separately inside the official game and add whole new ways to play, including the Landlord Pack, Black Market Pack, Cult Pack, Zoo Pack, Secret Agent Pack, Casino Pack, Movie Director Pack, and Racing Pack.

Relationships matter just as much: friends, partners, children, and rivals all shape your story. With Bitizenship’s unlimited generations, your legacy continues — when one character dies, you keep playing as their heir.
